Vacation Fun!

Our vacation was great and I took about a million pictures of Aashini... so before I get to those pics, I thought I'd post a belly picture :) You can't actually see the size of my belly in this pic, but you can see my weird shirt :) haha!
19 weeks!
Aashini had so much fun playing with the Plumeria flowers that were all over the place...
Aashini was scared of the sand at first. It freaked her out to walk on it. After (sort-of) getting over her fear of the sand, she had a blast playing in it!
"smiling"
I liked this pic.... you can see the crazy sandbar that was in the ocean - it was huge!
Aashini LOVES Snakes! (or "Nakes" as she calls them). I don't think she's actually seen a real one yet, but she loves them in her books. We found a millipede on the road one day when we were walking and she thought it was a snake and was sooooo excited and kept yelling "NAKE! NAKE!!" :) It was cute :)
Playing in the sand before dinner... Adam says these shorts look like Jams - does anyone remember Jams? haha!
Aashini doing her "fish face".
Adam told Aashini to show her teeth and smile and this is what we got :)
I don't know why, but this picture makes me laugh :)
We had a very fun vacation :)

Andrea, you always look so amazing, just radient!!! I'm glad you all had such an amazing vacation and the picture show it, I can't believe how tall Aashini is and how long her hair is getting. Shes looking like a little girl and not a baby anymore. Shes so fun, her personality just shines in the pics.

it is so funny you mention the sand...because isabella did not like walking on it either. i think it was the whole cant stand up thing dont feel safe thing. but she eventually liked the ocean water. love the belly pics!

misty, my son too! nathan hates walking barefoot in the sand, he always wants his shoes on. it takes several days for him to get used to it after we've been away from the beach for a while.

A - if you have any hints to get kids to WEAR flip-flops, let me know. that's all I can find right now in stores, but N hates them and his current non-thong sandals won't get him through the summer. Errrr.

Erin - No tips... sorry :( - Aashini can't stay away from hers. I think it's b/c that's all Adam & I wear and she wants to be big and wear them too :) I can't find them in her size here! I wish I could find some that have elastic on the heel! :)

seriously? if you need those, I can make it happen. that's ALL they have at target and kohls and payless, lots with elastic straps, and more girlie designs than you can shake a stick at. Let me know what sizes she needs, and I can send them to your parents (or whoever will send you care packages soon) or the next short-term team headed your way. just email me. :)

Andrea--Teva has some super cute elastic heel flops. I got several pairs on REI for about $5 each earlier in the summer! Where did you guys go for vacation? The resort pool and bungalows look great!
