Catch-Up :)

I've been super busy the last couple of weeks, so I haven't been posting as much as usual... So we'll do a little catch-up here :)
Aashini has learned a few new things lately :) She's become very good at pulling up on things :) She's pulling up on everything! She's also learned how to take off her cloth diapers :) A couple of weeks ago, she pulled up in her bed fo the first time - and had her diaper half-way off :) I thought it was funny!
She was so proud of herself :)
She seems so big in the pics above... but then when I look at the pic below then I realize that she's still really small :)
So the crib (pack-n-play) in the pics above was one that we were borrowing from our friends S&S... they just had a baby this week (see the other blog), so we packed it up and pulled out her travel bed to use for the next few weeks (and to use a lot when we're traveling in the states). It works out good because it's a lot taller :) She has been able to pull up in it though... I thought it was cute to see her little eyes peeking over the top :)
I had to post another one :)
Adam likes to get in there an play with her sometimes - she thinks that's so cool :)
And one last pic for fun :) Aashini thinks she looks so cute in her sunglasses :)

8 Months!

I've been bad about blogging the last few weeks - we've been so busy! So finally... here are Aashini's 8 month pictures - I know, she's 8 and a half months... :) She wore her fun New York Yankees outfit for the pics. She was being so goofy - and not the most photogenic...
She likes to flap her arms like a bird :)
This picture cracks me up!! :)
She just loves to climb on things :)
OK, sorry those are so late :) Nine months will be here before you know it!!

Last couple of days in Thailand :)

So here's a few pics form our last couple of days in Thailand...
Eating has started to wear Aashini out :) She fell asleep while trying to eat the other day :) I thought it was cute :)
We're trying to get Aashini started early:
We've had a lot of people tell us that pickles are great for teething babies.... So, at our favorite Lebanese restrauant in Thailand (and our favorite restrauant all together) they always give you a serving of pickle slices with your meal, so we decided to give Aashini one... she LOVED it! It was really funny how much she liked it! She would chew on it a little bit and then take it out and admire it (as seen below)... it was really cute!
One of the fun things Aashini learned while hanging out with all the older kids in Thailand was how to clap! She loves to do it and I think it's really cute!! (oh, ad in this picture you can see that she does have a little hair) :)
On our last day in Bangkok we got to see our friends M&M, their new little baby M and their other son Reister. He gave Aashini a little kiss on the head and she wasn't sure what to think about that at first....
But I think she liked it... we're going to have to keep our eye on her in the future :)

Baby Beach Fun :)

Aashini really loved the beach :) She thought it was so fun!! She definitely loved the sand :) She thought it was very interesting and fun to touch :)She kept wanting to eat it - yuck!!
She had sand all over her mouth - this picture cracks me up :)
A picture with dad - and a sandy smile :)
She was a little tired when she took pics with me :) haha!
I posted this picture on the other blog, but I love it, so I had to post it again on this one :) - Aashini got these sunglasses and the lei from her teachers last week :) She had fun wearing them! She didn't want to take the sunglasses off :) haha!
She thought she looked so cool :)
The hotel was great and even had some fun swings. She was still a little small for the swing, so she only got so swing just a little bit - but she had fun :)
Adam took this picture and I thought it was really cool :)
Vacationing with a baby was a new experience :) We really had a lot of fun :)

Just For Fun :)

So right now we're in Hua Hin and we don't have our computer with us - BUT I posted this a few days earlier and I am trying out this delayed post thing... so we'll see if it works :)
So here is a picture below of Aashini's new signature face :) Since she got both of her bottom teeth, she's been making this funny "oh" face. She makes that sound with it too - it's so cute! All the Thai girls and ladies like to stand around her and say "oh" and watch her do it back - it's very funny!!!
On the Forth of July, we hung out with our friends Jacob & Sara :) We went to the pool and all the girls had a blast!
Aashini was a little upset when we got her head wet, but she got over it fast :)
She really loves to swim!
Here's a couple of seconds of video of Aashini kicking in the water :)

This picture (below) isn't very good, but it made me laugh :) Aashini loves water bottles and is always drawn to them :) haha!
We went with some friends and their kids to a fun little play area. They had a cool little room that had fans and balloons in it and the balloons were constantly floating around - and Aashini thought it was the coolest thing ever!
Aashini has gotten to experience many new things in the last couple of weeks! She's really had a blast!

Last Days...

Well, we finished up our last few days in Chiang Mai. We had a GREAT time and I think Aashini may have had an even better one :) As first time parents dropping off our daughter for the first time, I have to say that we were a little stressed out :) but the group watching our kids (FBC Orlando) was totally awesome!!! They were so cool!!! It made our week even more awesome!! Aashini had so much fun in her little class!! She played so hard that she went to bed about 2 hours early every night!
Aashini & Hannah fought over toys just about every day (as sorta seen below) - I think they're going to be a handful in the future :)
On thing that the kids really liked was being put inside the inner tube - they all thought it was so fun :) haha!!
And I threw this picture in just for fun :)
And last, but definitely not least... We had a baby dedication time on the last day - it was really cool :) Aashini, Hannah, Rebekah and a bunch of other babies were dedicated :) It was fun :)
We head out to Hua Hin for vacation tomorrow!!! Whoo hoo!!!

Pool Party... A Year Later...

Our annual 4th of July party was a few days early this year. We had fun swimming and had an awesome BBQ :) Remember our picture from last year? (here it is below)...And here we are this year (minus Emily :(...) What a difference a year makes!! (can you believe that all 4 of us had girls???)
The girls all had fun splashing a playing in the pool!
Aashini was soooo tired afterwards and fell asleep 3 hours earlier than normal!!
