Aashini a Linebacker??

While in Knoxville, we got to meet up with some friends of ours that live there (Chad & Jennifer). We worked together with the Youth at FBC Tallahassee while in college. They just recently had a baby (Ty), so it was fun getting to see them and hang out :)So while we were out together eating, Aashini was wearing her University of Tennessee gear. One lady came up to our table and saw Aashini and said: "What a big little boy! He has a linebacker's head if I ever saw one"... yeah, nice... haha! Someone told her that she was a girl and the lady said: "oh, well she looks like my son..." haha! OK... this girl needs a bow or something :)
So, since Aashini won't keep any sort of bow in her head, the whole next day I made her wear this little tiny clip in her little bit of hair :) Adam kept thinking it was a bug in her hair :)
Aashini has a couple of new tricks :) Now if we say: "How big is Aashini?" She'll stick her hands up (as seen below) while we say "so big" :)
She has also started singing and dancing. The dancing is more like bouncing and it's way cute ;) She also has a few words that she can say now (in order of appearance):
1. Dada
2. WOW!
3. Whoa!
4. Mama
5. Dog
6. Yay!
7. Duck
8. Nose
(and can even point to it!)
And, my favorite trick that she does now, we affectionately call the "fish face"...

In Tennessee :)

Right now we're up in Knoxville, TN visiting family. We went up to Clingman's dome today (to read a little about this trip, check the Other Blog). It was cold, so Aashini was all bundled up...
...And she loved it :)You can't tell very well in this picture, but she was having so much fun being all bundled up... she has her feet propped up on the stroller - I think it's cute :)
Aashini thought she would pose on this motorcycle :) I love the face she's making in this picture :) It's fun :)

Our Little Goofball :)

Here are a few random pictures of Aashini from this weekend. This first one cracks me up! She's such a goofball :) Speaking of goofballs, check out this video our friends took of Aashini saying "Wow" (click on that link) - It's so funny! If for some reason you can't view it, I'll try to post one of my own soon - I just haven't had time to edit anything yet :)Aashini really likes grass now :) She loves to play with it ;)
... and here she is eating a chainsaw... (don't worry it's a toy) :)

10 Months!

Aashini is 10 months! (well, she was 10 months last Sunday, but we've been out of town :))... Today we took some pics in the front yard before church :) I think she looks so big in these pictures!
This one (below) is my absolute favorite!!!
She's been sticking her tongue out a lot lately and making funny "la-la-la" sounds :) She's also prefected saying "wow" this month and says is about everything!! She's been known as the "wow" baby in a lot of places :)
She's even starting to grow hair!! haha! She's getting so big so fast!

Family Fun!

Yesterday Aashini got to meet Adam's mom & step-dad. Her gradmother and Pa-Pa.
She got to play with this awesome caterpillar. She thought it was awesome!
... Especially the antennae :)
Here is Adam's mom and step-dad with all of their grand-kids minus one :)
Adam's dad & little brother had a gig last night at Bruster's Ice Cream (I'll do a post on that later)... but Aashini had fun meeting Scoops the ice cream man...

Havin' Fun :)

Aashini has been having fun doing all sorts of new things. She really likes these awesome shopping carts they have at Publix (an awesome grocery store)... she drove all around the store! We went down to FSU on Thursday and toured the campus. It has changed sooo much since we were there!!! The fence that she is next to is where the Kappa Sigma Fraternity house was (where Adam used to live and we met... long story, but if you want to know it, I'd love to tell you)... Behind her is the BCM (where I used to live)... fun memories :)
We went to a fun kids store... they had these cute lady bugs that kids could ride on... she was more interested in his antennae... but she sure liked it :)
When we got to Orlando, Sean (Adam's brother) - or maybe it was Adam's dad.... anyway, they took this Yankee's Cap off a stuffed animal and put it on Aashini... I think it looks funny :)
