Aashini's Tricycle!!!

Aashini got a new tricycle for a special Valentine's day present :) She had so much fun playing with her friend's tricycle that she just had to have one :) Look how fun it is! This is a typical South Asian tricycle - complete with a handle in the back! The handle is awesome because you can both push and steer with it! It has a bar you can put in front of her if she was smaller and little stands at the bottom to put her feet on if she can't reach the pedals yet :)It also has a special bar that can go on the bottom and turn it into a rocking horse (tricycle).
Her favorite part about her tricycle?.... The button on the top! It makes laser sounds, honking sounds, car alarm sounds - well a bunch of different sounds - AND has flashing lights!!!
She rides around the house in it. She can reach the pedals but has trouble keeping her feet on pedals yet. She loves to walk it forward - but especially backwards!! She also loves going to the park with it :) The first time we went, she wanted to push her tricycle :) haha!
Then later she wanted to ride again :) (If you look behind Adam in the picture you'll see a gate - the gate is to keep the cows out so that they don't eat all the green things and make a mess in the park).
So that is Aashini's new Tricycle :) It's so fun!!!!

How funny! I was just thinking of getting Archie his first riding toy. That's more complicated than what I was thinking, but I think I like it better - more to grow into. How does it work in the house, though, since we have a lot of indoor time in our 6+ months out of the year freezing weather?

Leslie - It works great in the house! We do have marble floors, but it's fun to ride all around the house. She loves it! I'm pretty sure they would have this kind of tricycle in your country b/c they had some at our store that were made in your country :) It's fun :)

How cool! I bet you can't get anything like that here. That's really cool that it's adjustable, and toddlers can ride it. I think most of the stuff here is for bigger kids. She looks so happy with her new toy!

That is one cool tricycle!!!! How awesome! What is the temp. there? George and I had to giggle b/c Ashini is all buddled up and Adam is in flip flops :-)

haha! It's in the 60's and 70's and 80's here :) haha! (mornings are cooler)... BUT if we go to a park or something and Aashini isn't super bundled up then we get lectured - so we did that to avoid a lecture :)
