Doctor's Visit!

Today Aashini had a doctor's appointment... She had her last one 2.5 weeks ago and she weighed 3.3 kg (7.3 lbs)... well, today she weighed 4.5 kg (9.9 lbs)!!! Crazy!!
She has been eating like crazy the last few weeks, so we figured she was having a growth spurt... but whoa! :)
Well, she had to get a shot today :( Poor thing... she was so happy when she got to the doc (as seen in the pic below)... she even gave Dr. Malik one of her cute little smiles :) Little did she know....
This is what she looked like after her shot....
Poor thing :(

Poor thing.... Shots are no fun. That's crazy. It just seems like they grow over night huh? She's just a doll.

Bless her heart! Shots are definitely not fun. :( But hooray on how big she's getting! That's a huge prz!

look at her grow! she's beautiful and awesome, and you guys are doing a great job. we hate shots at our house too, though the little ones seem to rebound almost instantly. it's the older ones who continue to whine. go figure. :)

Poor baby! Way to go on the growing. That is amazing!! My kids would both sleep like maniacs when they were growing. I'm so proud of your little princess.

Adam and Andrea, I love reading your blogs and seeing your pictures of Aashini. Hang on to your hats it just gets wilder from here! I always hated when my kids had to have shots, I think the 15 month ones are the absolute worst. They are big enough to know what's coming, strong enough that it is hard to hold them down, and not old enough to really understand why they have to have them. Enjoy every bit, each stage is fun, and those smiles make all the sleep deprivation worth while. Wait until she really giggles an giggle. Then you'll make total fools of yourselves trying to make her do it again. Keep the faith, Christie Seeley
