2 MONTHS!!

OK, so this post is a little late... but I'm also not exactly sure when to do these posts... Aashini is actually 9 weeks old - so should I celebrate her being a month older every 4 weeks? or when it's the 7th of every month.... hmm...
Anyway, we've had a couple fun milestones this month :) One is that Aashini has started smiling :) She's been smiling in her sleep for a long time, but just recently we've been able to make her / encourage her to smile :) That's been fun!
So this month's picture times weren't very successful... we did it two different days and it still wasn't very successful - haha! oh well :)
I like this pic below because you can see her eye color pretty well (at least on one of her eyes :)) I wonder if it will stay that way or continue changing... hmm....
In this pic, she's wearing her shirt that says her name :) Fun hunh?
This picture below is funny to me :)
This picture below is funny too ... she looks a little ridiculous with all the stuff she's wearing - haha! oh well :)
And here are a couple of the really bad pics with her bear :) They weren't so successful ... she didn't want her picture taken this month :)
She looks really tired in this one...
Speaking of tired...in this picture it looks like she's saying: "mom, quit taking my picture - I'm tired!" But I think in this picture she looks like she's a little overstimulated :) haha!

haha! So it wasn't the most successful monthly picture taking session... maybe next month :)

She is SO cute! Her cheeks are really starting to fill out:) She is most definitely her parents' daughter...so many fun expressions. I can't wait til ya'll get to take her to Thailand (or just to one of those photo booths) and do a family session in one of the photobooths!

Here's my thought (not like you asked). I like celebrating "month" birthdays should be on the 7th. If you do it every 4 weeks, then she'll end up being 13 months old on her birthday (52 weeks divided by 4). And a year isn't even exactly 52 weeks. AND this year is Leap Year so that just makes everything complicated.

The pictures are great.

Very true about the leap year thing, I didn't think about that.
I love her Aashini shirt and the whole outfit, actually! What a stylin' little girl. She's so cute, and really is filling out. I want her to wake up around me so I can hold her. :)

I love that little dress! Layers are in! She has such a little personality. hmmmm wonder where she got that?

I love the one of her smiling.

And yes, celebrate on the date of the month, not by weeks. All of us without kids have a hard time computing by weeks! :)

Looks like she's already got strong opinions of her own!

i love her little photo session! she's a rock star. haha. definitely celebrate by her actual birthdate. that way you can easily post her monthly "birthdays" but for the doctors and baby books, keep up with how many weeks she is. that's how you can track her growth and weight and all the neat things she will do at each milestone. keep the pics coming. we love 'em!
