Just For Fun :)

So right now we're in Hua Hin and we don't have our computer with us - BUT I posted this a few days earlier and I am trying out this delayed post thing... so we'll see if it works :)

So here is a picture below of Aashini's new signature face :) Since she got both of her bottom teeth, she's been making this funny "oh" face. She makes that sound with it too - it's so cute! All the Thai girls and ladies like to stand around her and say "oh" and watch her do it back - it's very funny!!!
On the Forth of July, we hung out with our friends Jacob & Sara :) We went to the pool and all the girls had a blast!

Aashini was a little upset when we got her head wet, but she got over it fast :)

She really loves to swim!

This picture (below) isn't very good, but it made me laugh :) Aashini loves water bottles and is always drawn to them :) haha!

We went with some friends and their kids to a fun little play area. They had a cool little room that had fans and balloons in it and the balloons were constantly floating around - and Aashini thought it was the coolest thing ever!

Aashini has gotten to experience many new things in the last couple of weeks! She's really had a blast!

Last Days...

Well, we finished up our last few days in Chiang Mai. We had a GREAT time and I think Aashini may have had an even better one :) As first time parents dropping off our daughter for the first time, I have to say that we were a little stressed out :) but the group watching our kids (FBC Orlando) was totally awesome!!! They were so cool!!! It made our week even more awesome!! Aashini had so much fun in her little class!! She played so hard that she went to bed about 2 hours early every night!

Aashini & Hannah fought over toys just about every day (as sorta seen below) - I think they're going to be a handful in the future :)
On thing that the kids really liked was being put inside the inner tube - they all thought it was so fun :) haha!!

And last, but definitely not least... We had a baby dedication time on the last day - it was really cool :) Aashini, Hannah, Rebekah and a bunch of other babies were dedicated :) It was fun :)

We head out to Hua Hin for vacation tomorrow!!! Whoo hoo!!!

Pool Party... A Year Later...

Our annual 4th of July party was a few days early this year. We had fun swimming and had an awesome BBQ :) Remember our picture from last year? (here it is below)...And here we are this year (minus Emily :(...) What a difference a year makes!! (can you believe that all 4 of us had girls???)

The girls all had fun splashing a playing in the pool!

Aashini was soooo tired afterwards and fell asleep 3 hours earlier than normal!!

So, now that Aashini is almost 7 1/2 months, I"m finally posting her 7 month pictures.... so since Aashini can sit up by herself now, we thought it would be fun to take her pic in the grass... Well, we live in a very dry area, so we don't have a lot of grassy areas, so, this was actually Aashini's first time in the grass :) She didn't like it.... the grass here is really dry and prickly... She didnt like it, so we had to have her 7 month pics another day...Here she is with her bear :) She's showing off her little tooth :)
I don't know why, but this picture makes me laugh :) I think she looks like a politician or something :)

Just this week we bought her a high chair! She loves it :)

Hannah came over for a swim this week :) Here's a pic of the girls showing off their swim diapers :)

The girls fought over this toy the entire time! - it's not even that cool of a toy... if one had it, the other one wanted it. They didn't care about all the other toys, just this one - it was funny! Their first fight :)

Afterwards they played and made up :)

Hangin' with Hannah :)

Remember Hannah? She hasn't been on the blog in a while (although much more recent than this pic below). This picture was when Aashini was 23 days old and Hannah was 11 days old :) Anyway, right now they're in town, so we got the girls together :) They're only about 12 days apart. I think they look so different!!!
They enjoyed playing with each other :) I think Aashini was confused at first (because it wasn't Hazel). They had fun "playing" :)

My Little Gynmast :)

Aashini has become quite the gymnast lately! She REALLY wants to crawl and has really been giving herself quite the workout!

Her legs are really strong, but she's still working on her arms :) She will push up with her legs and use her head to push up her arms - it's really funny :) (she didn't think it was very funny when she tried to do that on the marble floor though)...

The other day she almost did a forward roll! The days of having an easy baby are going away fast!!

When she gets up on her hands and knees she rocks back and forth and is so proud of herself!

FIRST TOOTH!!

So Aashini has had a little lump on her bottom gum for a while now, so we knew a tooth would eventually come soon... she's been chewing on things like crazy!! She LOVES to chew on her thumb :)

Today, when I stuck my finger in there to check the progress of her tooth - I felt it!! Her first tooth!! Go Aashini!!! I tried to take a picture of it... Aashini was very confused as to why I was taking a picture of her mouth :) (and in case you can't tell, it's the bottom left) :)
The day before yesterday, Aashini was able to get up on her hands and knees and rock back and forth! It won't be long until she's crawling away!! She's scooting across her head, and has crawled forward a step :) It's amazing how fast they grow!!

I had a few pictures that I thought I would post :) We've been super busy with the vols we have in town, so I haven't taken many pics :) Aashini is 7 months old today! Can you believe it!?! I post 7 month pics soon, but until then...

Here's a pic of Aash in the bath :) She likes making faces in the mirror and looking at us through the mirror - She's pretty fascinated by it :)

I don't know what it is... every time we cheer and say "yay" to Aashini - she cries!! It's so sad, but s funny! I don't know why she does it! haha! Anyway, check it out - (it's a super short video - only about 8 seconds)...
