Aashini is finally feeling almost better :) She almost has her whole appetite back now! She's still sleeping a little more, but she's feeling good enough to go out and take some Christmas Pictures! So, we dressed her up and went out to take some pics :) The pic below is my favorite :)

She doesn't really stay still anymore when I take her pictures :) haha! Now that she's walking, I can't just pose her next to something and know that she'll stay. She's walking around everywhere!

Recovering...

Aashini is recovering :) She's been sleeping a lot! Poor thing. Here she is sleeping yesterday.

Here she is today! She's feeling sooo much better. She hasn't really been able to eat much (and is still throwing up a few times a day as well as having "Loose Motions") but she's been able to play for a little bit!

Update!

Thank You guys sooo much for lifting us up last night!!
All day yesterday Aashini had a fever. It dipped down to 99 at one point, but was around 101 all day long...
BUT
...right before bed (usually when her fevers spike), she went down to normal! She stayed at normal all night and woke up with a normal temperature too. She has even been able to keep a little food down today!
Thank you guys sooooo much for lifting us up! We really can’t thank you enough! Really!!

YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

Scary Night with a Sick Baby...

The night before last Aashini was a little sick and threw up a couple of times, but by yesterday morning, she seemed OK. She didn't want to eat or drink much, and had about 100 temperature, but that's about it. She seemed like she was just a little sick, the highest her temperature got up to was 101.

Well, last night we put her to bed and she woke up about midnight and she was burning up!! We took her temperature and she was 104!!! We quickly stripped her of all her clothes and tried to cool her down, while trying to decide if we should go to the ER or not. Well, a few minutes later, she stiffened up straight as a board ans started shaking. Then her eyes rolled back in her head and she became unresponsive and was breathing really strangly. We all quickly jumped in the car and rushed over to the ER.

They put us right into a room when we got to the ER, which was a huge blessing. They immediately gave her medicine, an ice pack and attempted to start her IV. After about 30 minutes of this, she started to become responsive again, and about 2 hours later she was able to sleep (pic below).We knew she was feeling better when she could do her little "tricks" (saying words she knows and holding up her first finger when we ask how old she is, etc...). It was really scary.

The doctor said she had some sort of virus. They did all kinds of tests on her and x-rays. She also had a Febrile Seizure (that is what was happening when she stiffened up and was shaking).

Finally, at about 4:00 am, she felt much better and was sleeping in her preferred position (below).

We got home at about 5:45 this morning and all slept for a while. Aashini has slept most of the day so far and hasn't eaten much, but her fever is down to 99 - PTL!! She's definitely feeling much better. Please lift her up tonight and pr that her fever doesn't get high again tonight.

Our Little Goofball :)

There's a really cool park down the street from my parent's house that really decorates a lot for Christmas. We had about 30 minutes to spend before meeting up with someone yesterday and we took Aashini to the park :) She had fun!

Aashini was standing up next to this big bear... she kept looking at it and saying: "DOG!" (she thinks everything is a dog). She was a little disturbed when she felt the "dog"... his fur was quite prickly!

Aashini is such a goofball! Lately, if she doesn't want her food, she's been throwing it (nice...) BUT the other night she decided to be a little more polite, so she stuffed her food into a crack in her high chair :) haha!
And this picture cracks me up!
