Little Artist :)

Aashini loves coloring. She loves blank paper the best :) haha! The other day she drew this cute smiley face :) Every time she draws a smiley face she almost always draws a line for the forehead :) haha!

The other day she drew a picture of her buddy Hazel (or Pazel as she calls her). Here's Hazel's mom's blog and here are a few pictures of Aashini with Hazel while they still lived in South Asia :) Anyway, Aashini drew this picture of Hazel and was so proud of it :)

Friends :)

Aashini LOVES friends. She gets so exited when we tell her friends are coming over or we're going to see her friends. She is quite the extrovert!

Super Ni-Ni!

Aashini is hilarious - she really cracks me up :) The girl LOVES goggles or any kind of mask! I'm not sure why and it's so funny! She begs us to let her bring her goggles places. We have these funny green goggles from a friend that moved and she loves them! haha!

She calls herself "Super Princess Ni Ni" - it's so funny!!

Rolin' Rolin' Rolin'

Diya is quite the mover lately! She loves to be on her stomach a lot too - she's hilarious! She loves to lay on her stomach in her bouncy chair (she LOVES that chair!)...

OK, so this picture isn't that clear, but the other day she was in the bouncy chair and rolled out of it like she does all the time (she loves doing it so we don't buckle her seat belt when she's on the bed)... but the other day I had a plate of Nachos and she rolled right onto them!! haha! She was so happy on my nacho plate!

School Visit :)

We went to Aashini's school the other day to pay for classes (for the upcoming semester). The girls got to play a little in the balls :)
Diya loved it and Aashini loved showing off her school to Diya ;)
Diya had her own fun as well :) This is a mailbox she's sitting on.

Crawling?

I don't think that it will be long before Diya is crawling :) She will get on her hands and knees for a few seconds at a time and is scooting everywhere really quickly! Wow! She is growing up so fast!!! :)

Aashini's "Garden" :)

The other day Aashini woke up and told us she was going to her "garden". She put on one sock, her shoes & a purse and wanted to go out to play in her garden. We let her go out just to see what she would do. She went down the stairs and started to go out to the park (her garden).

We got her to come back in and get some clothes and headed out again... She wanted to have a hat and put her shovel in her purse ;)

She had a great time in her "garden" :)

Sitting!!

Diya can sit by herself!!! The other day we thought we should see if she could sit by herself and she could! She probably could have done it earlier but we hadn't given her the opportunity (poor 2nd kid!). She's great at sitting!! She's so cute!! She can sit for a long time without falling!

We pulled out our walker the other day for Diya to use and she LOVES sitting in it. She can make it scoot a couple of inches here and there :)

I took a bunch of pictures of the girls together the other day. They were so funny together - I got some hilarious pictures!! I love how Aashini is holding Diya's hand in the picture below :)
