Foto Fun!!!

 Diya had a photoshoot at school this past weekend.  The family was supposed to be in a few pictures too :) I grabbed a couple of pictures too :)  This isn't a great one... but I thought it was cute :)

Quilts!

My mom made Diya a quilt when she was born :) She made one for Aashini when she was born too :) It's fun :) Here's Diya on her quilt :)

The other day we went out to the mall before dinner (one of our fave places to go for dinner) and decided to take a few pics before we went out . We don't have many family pics and Aashini was in the mood for taking pics, so we took a few :) haha!

Here's Aashini showing off her fun new glittery "boots" from her Masi and Jesse. She thought they were so cool and kept running around in them :)

We decided to take the stroller to the mall to see if Diya would be happy in it (and save my shoulder)... but she wasn't into it. We ended up pushing an empty stroller while holding Diya in the sling and Aashini walking. Aashini later decided she wanted to be in the stroller, so she climbed in and thought she was so cool :)

Before dinner we took Aashini to one of the fun play places at the mall so she could play.

It's one of her favorite things to do, she loves playing, running around and hanging out with other kids ;)

Here's a few fun pics of the girls from the last few days :) Aashini has started to LOVE pockets! She loves putting rocks in her pockets too :) It's cute :)

Whenever Aashini is concentrating, she sticks her tongue out - I love it!

Diya was crying the other night, and Aashini brought her a toy to make her feel better. It worked! haha! Aashini loves to help Diya when she's crying. She says to Diya: "Don't worry Diya, don't worry" and then gives her a toy or bounces her in her bouncy chair - so cute!

She's a really "grabby" baby. She reaches out to grab anything near her and she LOVES to hold and touch things. If she's really upset we can give her a blanket and she's so happy! It's cute ;)

Aashini is getting so big so fast! She talks a ton now and says: "What's that?" about a million times a day! :)

Family Fun!

Yesterday Aashini got to meet Adam's mom & step-dad. Her gradmother and Pa-Pa.
She got to play with this awesome caterpillar. She thought it was awesome!
... Especially the antennae :)

Adam's dad & little brother had a gig last night at Bruster's Ice Cream (I'll do a post on that later)... but Aashini had fun meeting Scoops the ice cream man...
